Centre Self Collective offers telehealth appointments via phone and video as well as in-person.

You can self-refer; all you need to do is get in touch and we will send you our intake form.

You can get a Mental Health Care Plan; all you need to do is book in with your GP, psychiatrist or pediatrician and request one. In the appointment you may be asked some questions about your mental health. Once you receive the plan, you can email these documents to Centre Self Collective and we will be in touch to support you with booking your first appointment. With a Mental Health Care Plan, you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate.

As our therapists are experienced in working with trauma, Centre Self Collective therapists can assist people with Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal (VOCAT) funding.

If you are an NDIS participant and have been funded for Improved Daily Living or Capacity Building funding within your NDIS plan, then you may have the necessary funding to access our counselling.

All Medicare Rebates can be claimed through a Mental Health Care Plan. 

Accredited Mental Health Social Workers are registered Medicare providers. If you obtain a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, psychiatrist or pediatrician, you may be eligible to claim back a rebate from Medicare for each session.  

Non-accredited Mental Health Social Workers and Art Therapists are not Medicare providers.

Before your first session, you will be asked to provide your card details on our intake form. On the day of your appointment, your card will be charged at 9:00am, and if eligible, your Medicare rebate will be processed on the same day as your session and will automatically return to your nominated bank account.

We understand that things happen unexpectedly, we ask that you provide at least two business days notice when needing to cancel or reschedule your appointment. 

Appointments cancelled within two business days of the scheduled time will be charged 50% of the appointment fee, plus 10% GST. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours will incur the full appointment fee, plus 10% GST. 

Please note that Medicare and most other third parties do not allow people to claim the rebate for non-attended appointments, so there will be an out-of-pocket fee.

Please note, failure to receive the reminder text message will not be considered a valid reason for not attending the appointment.
