Bronte is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, EMDR therapist, Motherhood Studies practitioner, Clinical Supervisor, and Women’s Circle facilitator. With over 6 years of experience in mental health and related fields, her practice is informed by her social work training and understanding of individuals in the individual and broader context of their experiences and environments.

Based in the Southeast suburbs and Brunswick on Wurunjeri Woi Wurrung country, Bronte provides therapeutic support to individuals aged 18 and up to support long-lasting change.

Bronte is a calming presence who is deeply passionate about the work she does. Her approach to therapy is non-judgmental, warm, grounding and collaborative.

Bronte uses a blend of evidence-based modalities to tailor therapy to your needs in the present moment. Through creating a shared therapeutic plan, Bronte supports you to identify goals and areas you would like to focus on during therapy. Offering individual therapy, EMDR immersive programmes, extended sessions, and one-off birth debriefs to meet you where you are and ensure the service feels supportive and intentional.

She has a particular interest in supporting mothers through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, early trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD and Life transitions.

Bronte combines Schema Therapy, EMDR Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, CBT, ACT, Somatic practices and Mindfulness into her practice, always selecting the mix that best aligns with your goals and therapeutic needs.

In addition to individual and group therapy, Bronte supports other professionals in formal supervision and social work students undertaking placements. Bronte is passionate about supporting new and seasoned practitioners in a supportive space to explore ethical dilemmas, professional and personal growth, critical reflection, burn-out prevention, private practice, and AASW accreditation support.

Bronte is a crafty person and always has a project or two underway. You can find her sewing quilts, clothing, and bags. As well as numerous other small craft hobbies that she loves to do with her 4-year-old daughter. Bronte loves to read and listens to podcasts and audiobooks on women’s history, folklore, or a good romance. Bronte and her family are avid campers and get away multiple times a year to rough it in the bush.
